Baker Commodities’ Rochester/Syracuse Divisions recently participated in the New York State Restaurant Association (NYSRA) 28th Annual NYSRA Rochester Chapter Golf Tournament. The event benefits ProStart, a nationwide, two-year program for high school students that develops industry leaders. From culinary techniques to management skills, ProStart’s industry-driven curriculum provides real world educational opportunities, builds practical skills and establishes a foundation that will last a life time. By bringing industry and the classroom together, ProStart gives students a platform to discover new interests and talents and opens doors for fulfilling careers.

In all, 144 golfers participated in the tournament. Representing Baker were L-R: Timothy Webster, Todd Amato (Rochester Division employees) and William Russell (Syracuse), Jesse Dixon (Rochester).
